November 8th - Wise Community, Wise Choices Luncheon; Potsdam, NY – St. Lawrence Health System’s Wise Community, Wise Choices luncheon series continues on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 11:30 am at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, 50 Leroy Street, Potsdam, Conference Rooms A and B.
This month’s speaker will be Associate Program Director Richard Couch of the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter. Mr. Couch will be speaking on the “Ten Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s.” A light lunch will be served in Conference Rooms A and B from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm, with the lecture taking place from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. There is no charge for this event, but seating is limited and RSVPs are required no later than November 5. Lunch, prepared by your Board members, will include: Squash Soup, Chili, Roll/Corn Bread, Salad, Dessert, Beverage. The St. Lawrence County Chapter (SLCC) #2831 is a community of advocacy and volunteers whose purpose is to 1) promote at the local level the priorities, programs and policies specific for the benefit of our seniors, 2) maximize member engagement in a broad menu of services, information and educational activities, 3) demonstrate the contributions and potential of people who are 50+ to encourage their full participation in contemporary life, 4) create fundraising opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency, and 5) stimulate public interest in a variety of issues.
